Why should you possess a Cebia Report certificate?

Even a professional may be unable to discover some falsified information that could potentially make a used car more attractive, not to mention the man on the street. However, there are ways of avoiding some major risks, although none are 100%.

Reliable information on whether a car's odometer has been run backwards can be found in the Autotracer information system. It contains about 130 million data items on used passenger cars, utility vehicles and motorcycles registered in the Czech Republic. The database thus lets you know the car's real odometer count, year of manufacture, whether it is currently encumbered with a lease, and whether it has been stolen. Autotracer integrates the information from such databases into a single file, so the user gets a summary of all the information available on a given car within a few seconds.

Autocentrum ESA was the first used car dealer in the Czech Republic to use comprehensive car inspections using Autotracer. Each purchased car therefore comes with a certificate (the so-called Cebia Report), which qualifies the information about the car in five principal categories: correct VIN, year of manufacture, theft check, financial encumbrance, and odometer count.
